About Us
Our history
Kivu Care was founded in 2022 and became a reality with a board and staff full of vision, passion, and excitement to see God work in the lives of many who are struggling with trauma, lack of access to mental health resources, and needed support for family members of and individuals dealing with substance use disorder (SUD)
Our founders
Noé and Bethany Kasali founded Kivu Care after relocating their family to Goma.
Having extensive experience working in ministry for nearly 20 years, Noé & Bethany have been providing trauma healing, counseling services, and trainings in eastern DRC since 2016.
Our vision & mission
Our Vision: To increase access to mental health related services and decrease substance use among youth and adults in Goma and eastern DRC.
Our Mission is to provide holistic care, restoring individuals and families affected by trauma and substance abuse related issues in the city of Goma and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo
